Since 1990, Team Renew has been enhancing the image of concrete with its water-based, non-acid, non-acrylic Concrete Color Stains. They are completely opaque, extremely maintainable, breathable,
and will not change the texture of concrete. Team Renew’s Concrete Color Stains fix common concrete color problems like discolored, blotchy or stained concrete, wrong colors, failed
acid-stain, and more! Team Renew’s family of Concrete Color Stains provide endless possibilities in coloring and faux finishing concrete.
How many colors does Team Renew offer?
Team Renew offers 80 standard colors. You can get each color in the Team Renew Solid Color Stain, the Team Renew Transparent Color Enhancer. Team Renew also offers an unlimited range of
color possibilities with the ability to custom color match any color desired.
How long do I need to wait before I walk or drive on Team Renew’s installation after it is dried?
Not long at all. You can walk on Team Renew’s installation after only 4 to 8 hours. You can drive on Team Renew’s
installation after only 48 hours. And you can clean installation area (e.g. pressure wash) after only 1 week. The surface should not get wet for at least 24 hours following application.*
*This is a general rule. In warmer temperatures, time could be less
How long will Team Renew’s stain last?
Our process is a penetrating concrete stain that lasts as long as the concrete itself. In fact, Team Renew’s bond is so tenacious that when you pressure wash the concrete, you will
actually ruin the surface before removing any color—it’s that permanent!
The wear and tear (traffic, weather, use, etc.) of the concrete surface may eventually affect the area installation enough to necessitate a maintenance application. Fortunately, our process
is completely opaque and does not need to be removed for maintenance applications. Interior applications that have been sealed or waxed will last much longer. Our process generally lasts
as long as an acid stain, if not much longer.
Can Team Renew’s stain be sealed?
Yes. Team Renew’s Concrete Color Stains are compatible with all currently known sealers.
Does Team Renew’s stain need to be sealed?
No. In fact, under most circumstances, we recommend not sealing our process on exterior applications. Most people want their colored concrete to look as if it was poured that color (i.e.
integral dye) and our stain will go to a matte finish in only a couple weeks after application. If our installation is sealed, the sealer will need to be completely removed before any future
maintenance applications.
Team Renew just applied a color and YOU the customer want a different color, can Team Renew re-apply?
Yes. As soon as the application of stain has dried a new color can be
applied. You do not need to remove the previous application. Depending on the time between applications, additional
cleaning may be required.
Will Team New Renew’s process hide repaired areas?
Our process is designed to provide even and consistent color coverage between old and new concrete, patches, etc. If adjacent areas differ in texture, which is commonly the case, the
stain could look slightly different due to wear and tear or other texture differences. In extreme situations staining the concrete to a single color could accentuate the texture differences.
If you need to hide repaired areas an overlay process would be an alternative solution. Please contact a Team Renew’s specialist to assist you in determining which process is right
for your existing project condition.
Will Team Renew’s process hide old blemishes/spots/stains on my concrete?
Absolutely. Our Solid Color Stain was designed to do just that. Generally, only two applications are needed to hide most stains. Under some circumstances a third application could be required
to completely cover any discoloration (only occasionally and when light colors are applied over very blotchy concrete).
